I grew up in Ammon, Idaho. When my parents divorced while I was 12, it changed everything. I watched the family I knew come apart — and I felt every bit of it. That experience shaped who I am and why I do what I do.
I earned my master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Kentucky. After graduating, I worked at clinics in St. George, Utah and Logan, Utah — good places with good people. But Idaho kept pulling me back.
I came home because this is where I belong. The families here are my people. I want to give couples in this community something I wish my parents had — a real shot at fixing it before it's too late.
I'm one of only two EFT-certified therapists in all of Southeast Idaho. My specialty is couples — particularly those navigating betrayal, broken trust, and the kind of disconnection that makes you wonder if you even know each other anymore. I also work with young men who are ready to overcome unwanted sexual behaviors.
My own marriage hasn't been perfect. I've had to confront my blind spots, my patterns, and the ways I learned to cope growing up. Doing that work has made me a better therapist and a better husband.
